MTL-Product Like Analytics adds a customizable "like" button to your product pages, letting customers save and signal interest in products. You get a built-in analytics dashboard showing which products are liked most, trends over time, and automated email follow-ups to turn likes into sales.
After installing the app, go to Online Store → Customize in your Shopify admin, select a product page template, and add the Like Button block from the app's theme extension. Save and publish your theme to make it live.
Yes. The button is styled to align with your theme's existing "Add to Cart" button by default, and you can adjust color, size, icon style, and position directly from the block settings in the theme editor — no coding required.
No. Guests can like products instantly using an anonymous browser identifier. If a customer wants to receive price drop alerts or restock reminders, they can optionally provide their email when liking a product.
The dashboard shows:
It's a storefront carousel you can add to any page (like your homepage) that automatically displays your top-liked products, helping new visitors discover popular items and boosting social proof.
If a customer likes a product and provides their email, you can enable automated price drop emails. When you lower the price of that product in your Shopify admin, an email is automatically triggered to notify the customer.
This is an automated follow-up email sent to customers who liked a product but haven't purchased it yet, gently reminding them and encouraging them to complete the purchase. You control the timing and can enable or disable this from the Automations tab.
Yes. Each automation (price drop alerts, liked-but-not-purchased reminders) can be toggled on or off independently from the app dashboard at any time.
No. The like button and carousel are built to load asynchronously and use lightweight, theme-agnostic scripts, so they won't impact your store's page speed or Core Web Vitals.
Yes. Since the like button is added as a theme block, you can choose exactly which templates or pages it appears on through the theme editor, giving you full control per product type or collection.
